The Lee County District Attorney's Worthless Check Unit has taken a financial hit because of a corporate decision by Wal-Mart to use a national firm instead of the local office to collect on bad checks. It's a hit that other counties may soon feel as well.Save to My Web

OLYMPIA The Thurston County Clerk's Office is expected next month to begin allowing Internet access to its Superior Court records. The Web access will allow people to view court records by using a link on the county clerk's Web site.Save to My Web
